2019-11-08 Friday Family Focus November 8, 2019 Note from the Principal Bethlehem Academy Community, We hope everyone has adjusted to turning your clocks back last weekend. It is great to see the sun earlier in the morning but hard to see when it gets dark before 5:00 p.m. If you enjoy the sunshine like I do, the sun set at 5:00 p.m. on Halloween. It will not set at 5:00 p.m. again until January 17, 2020! There will be brighter days ahead as we will start to gain minutes of daylight after Christmas 2019. BA will have its fourth annual Veteran Days Program on Monday, November 11, 2019 at 9:15 a.m. in the Van Orsow Auditorium. We encourage all veterans to attend the program so that we can thank you for your service. We will have coffee and doughnuts in the lobby at the conclusion of the program that will last about one hour. We will have our first open house for prospective new families on Thursday, November 14, 2019. There will be information about all activities and sports programs from 5:30 to 6:00 pm. This will be followed by a presentation and tour of the school. I strongly encourage you to invite families who are looking for a great middle and high school to attend this program. I have said many times that we get one chance to do middle and high school right and I can guarantee that BA is the right choice for a great future. Please contact our Enrollment Director, Kris Sauer at ksauer@bacards.org if you need more information about admission and enrollment at BA. And finally, thanks to all of you who have made a donation to the 2019-20 BA Annual Fund.
