An Authentically Catholic Dominican Prep School

Founded in the tradition of the Dominican Sisters of Sinsinawa, we have been following the Dominican pillars of prayer, study, community and service for over 155 years. Offering a faith-enriched educational program that demands self-discipline, fosters respect for others, encourages the search for truth, and recognizes the unique abilities and God-given talents of each student, we THANK YOU for your interest in our school.

Admissions Policy
Admission to Bethlehem Academy (BA) is based on several factors that reflect our school’s mission to empower our students to achieve high standards of personal, spiritual, and academic excellence. We offer rolling admission based on availability. An application is considered complete when the applicant’s math teacher recommendation is received and their school releases grades from the current and previous school year, most recent standardized test results, and behavior and attendance records. We reserve right to reverse an admissions decision if final transcripts for the school year indicate failing grades or evidence of behavior issues. Bethlehem Academy does not offer special needs programs, except where we are able to collaborate on a limited basis with Faribault Public Schools. Bethlehem Academy does not discriminate against students or their families on the basis of race, color, gender, religion, disability, ethnic origin, age, marital status, sexual orientation, source of income, gender identity, housing status or military discharge status.
Bethlehem Academy is a Catholic school in the Sinsinawa Dominican tradition. BA is, therefore, a religious high school, and spiritual development is regarded as a primary educational goal. All students, Catholic and non-Catholic, are required to take our Religion classes and are expected to attend school worship services.
International Student Admissions
Bethlehem Academy accepts international students on a case-by-case basis after a thorough review of transcripts, including demonstrated English language ability. There are no minimum test scores required, but please note that students must be capable of managing spoken and written English at the high school level. Bethlehem Academy does not offer an ESL program.
Bethlehem Academy, a Catholic school in the Sinsinawa Dominican tradition, strives to empower its students and staff to achieve personal, spiritual and academic excellence. We challenge ourselves to love as Jesus Christ loved, to lead, to serve, to inspire and to seek the truth: Veritas.
