The SMART Challenge Ride is a three-day charity bike ride that raises funds to support tuition costs for those most in need at Bethlehem Academy, a Catholic grade 6-12 school in Faribault, MN. Since the first ride in 2012, this event has raised over $420,000 for our Bethlehem Academy students!
Join us for the 10th Annual SMART Ride Challenge!!
The 2021 ride will take place Thursday, July 29 through Saturday, July 31, 2021. Registrants are limited to 20 riders/day. Short on time or training? Here's the good news: We’ve got great 1 day, 2 day, and 3 day riding options!
SMART Ride Routes:
July 29: Bethlehem Academy to Mankato / Minneopa State Park, mainly on the Sakatah bike trail. Route: 60-65 miles. We have 3 camp sites reserved at Minneopa State Park (6 people per site) for those riding the 3 Day ticket option.
July 30: Minneopa State Park to New Ulm loop. Most of this day’s 70 miles ride will be county roads / highways.
July 31: Minneopa State Park back to Bethlehem Academy. (65 miles)
Participation fees are $50/rider/day; $125 for all 3 days and includes a t-shirt and boxed lunch each day, along with crew support. Rider registration deadline: Wednesday, July 14, 2021.
