Dear Bethlehem Academy Community,

I am pleased to formally introduce myself as the incoming Head of School at Bethlehem Academy. I am both honored and excited to become a part of this exceptional institution as it prepares to mark its 160th year of providing high-quality Catholic education. Bethlehem Academy has long been known for its strong commitment to academic excellence, moral development, and community engagement, and I look forward to contributing to its continued success.

My professional background has been shaped by a variety of experiences in education, all of which have prepared me for this role. Over the years, I have taught English Language Arts to students in grades 6 through 12, served at the university level, and held leadership positions, including that of a principal. These experiences have allowed me to develop a deep understanding of educational best practices, and the leadership needed to foster a nurturing, challenging academic environment.

Bethlehem Academy’s reputation for academic excellence, coupled with its deep Catholic roots, resonates with my journey and beliefs as a Catholic educator. The faculty and staff at Bethlehem Academy demonstrate an unwavering commitment to nurturing the intellectual and spiritual growth of students, and I am impressed by their dedication to preparing students not only for academic success but also for lives of purpose, leadership, and service.

In the coming months, I look forward to collaborating with the faculty, staff, students, and families of Bethlehem Academy as we work together to build upon the school’s 160-year legacy. I am particularly eager to engage with the community and learn more about the unique strengths of the school, which has a long tradition of excellence in academics, athletics, and extracurricular activities. I am confident that together, we will continue to uphold and strengthen the values of faith, knowledge, and service that are at the heart of Bethlehem Academy’s mission.

Thank you for your warm welcome and your continued partnership with Bethlehem Academy as we strive to love, to lead, to serve, to inspire and to seek truth. I look forward to working with all of you.

Go Cardinals!

Sincerely,
Paula Leider, Ed.S.
