John E. Hoban and Lucille M. Hoban 
Merit Based Scholarship

Bethlehem Academy students entering grades 9-12 for the 2020-2021 school year are invited to apply for the John E. Hoban and Lucille M. Hoban Merit Based Scholarship.

Students must have a GPA of 3.0 or higher and be in good standing with the BA Leadership Team.

Interested students must prepare a 2-part essay as detailed below: 
 

Essay Requirements:
The four pillars of Dominican life are prayer, study, community, and service.

Part I: Which of these speaks to you and guides your life at this point? In what ways? To what do you attribute that?

Part II: How will you carry the Dominican pillars with you into your daily life as a young Christian adult?

This scholarship is not need-based, it is merit based only. This scholarship award ranges from $150 to $600 per recipient. Please email your essay, along with your name, grade and address to:
