Bethlehem Academy Announces 2023 Commencement Week Plans
Faribault, MN (May 23, 2023) – Bethlehem Academy is pleased to announce commencement week plans for the Class of 2023.
The Mary Ceremony, an all-school prayer service event, will be held in Van Orsow Auditorium Wednesday, May 24, at 1:00 p.m. High school English teacher and senior advisor, Mrs. Shari Piehl, was chosen by the seniors to address the class. Following the crowning of Mary and the faculty speaker, seniors will be presenting daisies and roses to those in attendance who have had a significant impact on their lives.
The Class of 2023 will celebrate the Baccalaureate Mass at Divine Mercy Catholic Church at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 24, with Bishop Michael Izen presiding.
The 2023 Awards Day program is scheduled for Friday, May 26, at 9:30 a.m. in Van Orsow Auditorium. This event recognizes seniors as well as high school and middle school students for academic and activities-related achievements. Senior scholarships will be awarded.
The 158th Commencement program will be held Friday, May 26, at 7:30 p.m. in Van Orsow Auditorium for the 31 members of the Class of 2023. Bishop David DeGrood, a 1983 Bethlehem Academy graduate and Bishop of the Catholic Diocese of Sioux Falls (South Dakota), will give the commencement address.
